Evaluation

A uniform system of Assessment, Examination and Report Card during the entire academic session functions. The implemented system of evaluation covers all the aspects of students’ development in scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The comprehensive component of the evaluation which under the guidelines of CBSE takes care of assessment of all round development of the student personality.

Scholastic Areas

The academic year is divided into two terms consisting of Term 1 and Term 2. Throughout the session, various examinations are conducted to assess the performance of the student in academic subjects as given in the table below :

Throughout the session, three Periodic Assessments ( of 20 marks each ), namely PA-1, PA-2 and PA-3 shall be conducted, out of which, best two shall be taken into addition with Half Yearly and Yearly Examinations separately.

In each Periodic Assessment, a written test of 10 marks shall be conducted. Out of the remaining 10 marks, Note Book Submission and Subject Enrichment shall be evaluated for 5 marks each.

For Class X, instead of Yearly Examination in the month of March, a Pre-Board Examination will be conducted in the month of January.

Co-scholastic Areas

The students shall be awarded grades on a 3-point ( A - C ) grading scale.

  • A = Outstanding
  • B = Very Good
  • C = Fair
